The April 7th DINNER meeting was especially wonderful, due to our special guests from Guatemala and Sacramento. Dr. Chuck Mosher brought his friend Steve Herrick and Rotarian Manolo (Manuel) Saenz from Rotary International District 4250 in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Our Rotary District 5220 Governor, Tim Madden welcomed everyone, too, from all the Central California clubs. Our visitors told of what they hope will become an international project between our two clubs, to provide prostheses to young mountain children and the upkeep of those devices for 15 years. The video presentation displayed Guatemalan beauty as well as told the stories of several youngsters who have already received artificial limbs.
