WELCOME TO ROTARY
WHAT IS ROTARY?
Rotary is where neighbors, friends, and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders, and take action to create lasting change.
Watch our film and explore our website to see the many ways we build communities.
BUILDING OUR COMMUNITY
SERVE TO CHANGE LIVES
We serve internationally in many areas including wheelchair distribution in Mexico & trip to Pakistan to help distribute Polio vaccinations.
Serving locally, we contribute to emergency relief for fires and the Mono Wind event. The Stop Sign Project which was the 2022 Mariposa crosswalks project began in the early 2000's with the stop signs at Main street and 8th.
COMMUNITY GIVING
Through our Community Giving Project, each year the Mariposa-Yosemite Rotary grants between $6,000 - $10,000 to local educational, charitable and nonprofit groups in need. Please read the guidelines and fill out an application
to be considered for funding.

ROTARY AND POLIO
For more than 30 years, Rotary and our partners have driven the effort to eradicate polio worldwide. Our PolioPlus program was the first initiative to tackle global polio eradication by vaccinating children on a massive scale. As a core partner in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, Rotary focuses on advocacy, fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and awareness-building.
