ANNUAL EVENTS AND FUNDRAISERS

SCHOLARSHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT

Over the past 14 years the tournament has allowed the Mariposa Yosemite Rotary Club to award in excess of $300,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors from Mariposa County. This year, we awarded 6 scholarships totaling $21,000.

Each year the Mariposa Yosemite Rotary club provides parking management at the County Fair.

ART WINE & WHEELS

Join us on the lawn of the Mariposa Court House in late May every year. Wine, Art, Music and Classic cars are some of the things you will see.

SPEECH CONTEST

Each year, the Rotary International President chooses a theme. This year’s President, Barry Rassin, has chosen the theme “Rotary: Be the Inspiration”. Our speech contest topic this year is “Be the Inspiration”. The main emphasis is to be on how this topic applies to you and your life as your future dreams and plans unfold through pursuit of education and involvement in community service. You must include in your speech Rotarians’ accomplishments with regard to Rotary: Be the Inspiration. You are encouraged to begin your research at www.rotary.org.

APPRECIATING OUR VETERANS

Honoring our Vets with a dinner, Wreath Laying on Memorial Day, the "Veterans Unforgotten Memories" film and working with other groups on the Veterans' Memorial at the Court House.
