Veterans' Unforgotten Memories Film Premiere
The premier of the documentary “Veterans’ Unforgotten Memories” is slated for November 13, 2021, at the Mariposa County High School Auditorium in historic Mariposa, California. First screening will begin at 2pm, following the dedication of the Mariposa Veterans’ Memorial.

About the event
Sponsored by The Rotary Club of Mariposa Yosemite, the emotional documentary features veterans from World War II to present day conflicts. It shares soldiers’ memories of being in the military and adjusting to life after service. Several spouses speak of the challenges they faced when their partners were dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Produced by film maker Bill Lowe, the film features interviews of local men and women of Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, Merced and Oakhurst creating a narrative for their communities to see and understand.
The documentary includes writer Samuel Hill, author of “Six Days to Zeus: Alive Day,” sharing his life story and his research into the challenges that today’s soldiers face.
Tickets for November 13th “Veterans’ Unforgotten Memories” screening are $10 each and benefit the Mariposa Rotary Foundation. Tickets go on sale October 1, 2021, at the Mariposa Visitor Center and Eventbrite.com. As screening presales fill up, additional showings will be scheduled that day.
